"Pamamanhikan is a treasured Filipino ritual which, first and foremost avoids the embarrassing situation of having the parents see each other for the first time come wedding day.
It is customary that the visiting family bring a gift for the hosts. Others may opt to hold the meeting on neutral grounds, a restaurant is a likely choice"

The primary reason why we went home last December is to have our Pamamanhikan. We are so happy to be blessed by our families' presence on the 19th of December 2010. We would like to thank them for making time despite their busy schedules (and our late notice hehehe). We surely missed Michelle, Ate Jenny, Kuya Jeff and their families.

We would have wanted Lola Aida (anne's grandmother) to join us
but she wasn't feeling well. We decided to drop by her house the following day.
