DIY: Save The Date

Here's another Do It Yourself Project, our Save The Date.

Special thanks to the following:
KC - my brother, who patiently designed and redesigned our monogram (probably a million times) hahah
Bert and JM - our dear friends who took our prenup photos
DIY Boarding Pass Save The Date - this is where I got the inspiration from, lots of great DIY ideas can be found on this site.

Tagaytay Highlands

For most marrying couples, the church and the reception venue are probably the most important suppliers to book.  Searching for the right venue in Manila was quite tedious because we did not have the luxury to check out our options personally.  It's a good thing that Mom and Aims helped out in doing ocular visits to several venues.

We thought of having a beach wedding but we didn't want the guests to bask in the rain on August.  My non-negotiable was a small, intimate and cozy church.  I want the guests to be seated close together, and I don't dream of walking down a very looong aisle haha.  John Ver wanted a scenic and relaxing venue.

Tagaytay Highlands offered these two, and more :)

Last December, we had our food tasting appointment (my first visit).  The food was great.  The staff was friendly and  efficient.  We were provided with maps; they even designated a security personnel in a motorbike to guide us as we drove around.  The church is exactly what I want :) and the Preps suite is just lovely, I wish I own one unit haha.
