Adora's Creations

We had some free time after Anne's first fitting with Veluz on the 22nd of December.  Next on our priority list is the flower girls' / bearers' attire.  So instead of watching a movie, we decided to check out one of our options for the flower girls' / bearers 'designer.  Anne called Tita Adora and luckily, she accommodated us even without prior appoinment.

Adora's Creations was recommended to us by our good friend, JM.   We've also read a lot of good feedbacks about Tita Adora in Weddings@Work.  We were able to see some of her creations in her office and the gowns were nice.   Aside from that, Tita Adora gave us an affordable package so we decided to book her services.

She is very soft spoken and she kinda resembles Cory Aquino hehe. You'll really adore Tita Adora nyahahahahaha. Here's Anne with Tita Adora:

Veluz Reyes

Last December 2010, John Ver and I went back to the Philippines to spend the holidays  with our families and at the same time, meet with our wedding suppliers.  We only got to spend 10 days in the Philippines so we had to squeeze in all of our appointments during the holiday rush. We're thankful for several suppliers for meeting us considering that December is a peak season for weddings.

that's John Ver having his measurement taken
Ms. Veluz was the first supplier that we visited.  Her staff is very friendly and hospitable. There were lots of brides every time we visit her yet they were very organized in attending to each one.

I had my measurement taken on the 20th of December, it only took 5 minutes. It was so quick, we didn't have the chance to see Ms. V.  Two days after, first fitting na agad :)  I love how the lining of the gown fits (bawal na tumaba at pumayat haha).  This time I was able to meet and have a chat with Ms. V.  Apparently, she prefers Melbourne over Sydney hihi.

John Ver had his measurement taken on the 27th of December, which was also my second fitting appointment.  We showed Ms. V the photos of the suit that John Ver wants and she suggested some designs which will complement his built and personality.  John Ver was amazed on how she quickly imagined the design and color that will flatter him.  She's really good at what she does.

Veluz Reyes' designs are very feminine and elegant.  When we found out that she'll be joining the weddingsatwork auction, we  kept an eye on her item.  Luckily, we won :D (technically we got 15% off the tag).

Check out her blog veluzreyes.blogspot.com and facebook fan page (Veluz) to see how lovely her creations are.  Here's a couple of photos from a recent fashion show that she joined:
